Primelake Atelier

Mission

Make wax seals accessible to modern makers by engineering tools that minimize mess and maximize repeatability without sacrificing soul.

Method

Short-run brass milling, controlled wax formulas, and ruthless testing on real envelopes, boxes, and ribbons.

Measure

Crisp edges, consistent sheen, postal durability, and the small joy of a perfectly centered pull.

Story

Founded by designers who obsess over kerning and color management, our first tools were built to solve our own frustrations: uneven pours, scorched wax, wobbly handles. We refined the geometry, improved heat paths, and rethought packaging to make the experience feel like opening a fine book.

Today, Primelake Atelier ships worldwide from a compact studio, yet our craft remains close: we prototype in-house, review every batch, and adjust based on how it feels and performs at the desk.
